An easy way to update your wardrobe this season is to look for special details that give classic styles a fresh twist. I love the eyelet trend that has emerged — it’s a great way to incorporate a touch of luxe. I have always loved gold hardware, so this detail is going to be making a strong appearance in my spring wardrobe.

The fitted top with dual eyelet detailing is a great way to incorporate this look into your everyday wardrobe. For a comfortable and stylish work outfit, pair with a wide leg knit pant (another one of my wardrobe staples). I’ll usually start my mornings by catching up on emails over a cup of coffee and running over my schedule for the day. This is kind of outfit that can easily take you from the office to meetings and then into evening — all you need to do is add gold jewellery, a simple pouch bag and black heel.
To take me to an after work event, I have added a red lip, mini gold hoop earrings, this statement bangle and a thick strappy heel. It’s a play on proportions that’s both graphic and fun.
Next up, the jumpsuit. I could talk forever about this closet essential. While previously it’s been seen as more of a casual piece, new styles like this one shoulder number are a great option to consider for the evening. In this case, the clean silhouette and neckline make this style sophisticated and flattering - cinching you in at the waist and highlighting your collarbone.
To complete the look I’ve accessorised with subtle gold jewellery to complement the gold hardware and make this ensemble feel even more luxurious. Pair it with a simple evening bag or clutch and a black pump for an outfit that’s guaranteed to make a statement.
