Izi Simundic On How She's Getting Ready For The Festive Season

Summer arrives with a plethora of events in trail, and each RVSP needs a matching outfit. From family barbeques to nights out with friends, here Sydney’s Izi Simundic talks through her approach to different dress codes this festive season.
Would you like to share your tips on surviving the festive season?
"Make sure you have a few great pieces you can throw over swimmers, and take you from day to nighttime easily. A dress that can work with flats at the beach, but also looks great when you pull your hair back and add jewellery on. I always buy the pieces that I can re-wear and rework, rather than a statement piece you’ll wear once."
What are you looking forward to the most this Christmas?
"After a crazy year, I get so excited to turn off my phone and spend time with my family. There’s always a big spread of traditional Croatian food, and we rewatch all our favourite documentaries together."
How do you put together outfits for different occasions?
A long lunch:
"I love something light and normally white when it’s day time. I like to feel fresh and and put-together."
A night out with friends:
"I normally go for darker tones at night time. I like sleek hair tucked behind my ears, and I’ll add a bit more bronze shadow to my eyes. A well-fitted dress or suit with lots of my favourite jewellery layered on top."
A family barbeque:
"A skirt and a linen cami, something easy!"
"Something special, with a little sparkle. I really take the festive season on board for Christmas dressing!"
