What do you love most about your little family
"I love everything!! Oh, hang on, I could do without the night feeds, and the nappies, and the naughtiness! But apart from that, I love it all! My loyal, loving hubby, the kids and their chaos, their sloppy little smooches and happy little hearts. I love it all!"
What has been one of your most treasured memories of your children so far?
"The day Sonny was born, and Valentina and Romeo saw him for the first time. The love in that room, at that moment, was abundant and overflowing."
What surprises you most about motherhood? How has it changed your world?
"Motherhood has honestly changed every single little thing about my world! I’m still the exact same ‘me’, but from the second I held my firstborn in my arms I see all things from a new perspective, with new eyes. Every decision made and every plan formed all now come from my heart. Everything is always for them."
What has been the biggest challenge?
"That first baby! And Vali wasn’t even a hard one! Having three is a piece of cake compared to that earth shattering shock of giving birth to your first and then bringing a new baby home."
Could you describe the perfect day together as a family?
"We love the beach. The perfect day would be driving down the coast, out of the city, to our favourite beach, Silver Sands, spending hours in the summer sun. There’s nothing better than salty hair and sun-kissed skin."
How do you approach your personal style as a busy mother of three?
"I’ve always loved fashion. And I love the way it can make you feel. I’ve never really stuck to one style as I like trying out new looks. One day I’ll want to feel girly in a pretty floral dress, the next day I’ll wear structured pants and a tailored jacket, another day I’ll throw on jeans and a tee. But at the end of it all, comfort is a definite. I need to feel like me and be comfortable."
How do you go about building your children’s wardrobes?
"Each season, I always buy a few really great quality staple pieces that I can mix and match and be sure the kids will get a lot of wear out of. And shoes - good quality shoes are also a must. A tan pair of leather boots in winter, and a tan pair of leather sandals in summer. They go with anything and everything and will last the whole season through."
