Country Road 50 Years

For decades, our duffle has been worn, held and embraced by AUSTRALIANS FROM ALL walks of life.

Since launching in the 80s, it's carried the weight of first days, the excitement of weekends and the thrill of adventures at home and abroad. Designed for a lifetime and cherished for another, it's a symbol of where we've been and all that's yet to come.

You'd see that bag coming off baggage carousels in every city in the world. What a billboard. The weekender and the tote: those two canvas bags were the silent salesmen.

Jane Parker

Design director, 1975-1998

From Spring 24, we're working to transition our iconic duffle bag to Australian cotton verified by Oritain.
When we can trace a natural fibre's origin, we can support better working conditions and improved environmental impact.

Everybody in high school had a Country Road duffle bag,
it was a rite of passage.
